Spring seedlings: Now ids th item to start planting some Spring seedlings inside to get a head start . get some good seed raising mix and keep the seed tray in a warm protected site in side. water daily. Mildew on your leaves: Good tip is to cut out the infected area with a sharp knife and the dab the edges with cinnamon to seal. It acts as an anti bacterial layer to protect the plant. Also use when you are prunning fruit trees or the garden trees on the new stump. |
Garden meeting times up.
Weekend meeting Date : The 1st Saturday and 3rd Sunday morning of each month. Time: Summer start from 8 am. to 11 am. Winter start from 9 am - 12 Pm. Midweek meeting Every Wednesday morning for a mini garden from 9.30-11.30 am. Bring: a cup, your vegetable scraps (for the worms/compost bins) and something to share for morning tea. Spare Seeds you might like to plant but have no space at home. Wear: old clothes (long sleeves/pants) , hat,sunscreen and gum boots if its wet. |
