Jobs Done: Rob got stuck into the new bamboo frame and has set it up ready for our Spring bed of zucchinis and cucumbers- well done Rob.
We weeded, composteer and mulched the back beds and harvest sweet potatoes. We replanted the sweet pot runners into the back beds. Seed raised some celeriac and re onions and some delphinium and cone flower seeds. Pak chou growing well and the parsnips coming along. Harvested sweet pot, snow peas, lettuce, radish and mitzuna- I had it for lunch-YUM! |
Jobs to be done this week: Great work clearing the back beds now to plant them out. We would like to get some permanent plants in there such as ginger that can keep the beds covered and provide on going crops. There are 2 pots nears the steps needing to be filled and planted out. I have received some seeds from Diggers so we can start to fill these with flower seeds and some late winter crops.
